Trout Unlimited to host PGC deputy executive director Dave Gustafson

The Susquehanna Chapter of Trout Unlimited will host PA Game Commission deputy executive director Dave Gustafson to discuss many important topics affecting area sportsmen.

The meeting will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 7 at 7 p.m. at the Covenant Central Presbyterian Church at 807 W. Fourth Street in Williamsport. Parking and entrance to the church meeting room is at the rear of the building with access off of Campbell Street.

Topics will include, but are not limited to, the recent State Supreme Court decision affecting law enforcement operations of both the PGC and the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission, the recent decision to eliminate the Deputy Game Warden Program, natural gas development of area State Game Lands and recent legal activity regarding natural gas rights, status of the Fisher Mine operations on SGL 75 near English Center, the status of local deer herds and the current elk range.
