State game lands system to grow by nearly 5,300 acres

The Pennsylvania Board of Game Commissioners met in July at the agency’s Harrisburg headquarters, hearing public comment, considering staff reports and conducting official business. One thing of note from the meeting is that the state’s game lands system will grow by nearly 5,300 acres. The commissioners approved acquisitions that added 5,290 acres to the state game lands, which includes the purchase of 13 properties throughout the Commonwealth.
