A city man faces felony and misdemeanor charges for allegedly intimidating a prosecution witness in the unsolved murder case of 16-year-old Ty’Feak Gordon, according to city police Agent Trent Peacock.

Dwayne Evon Morton, 21, of 1051 E. Third St., was charged with felony intimidation of a witness, felony retaliation against a witness and misdemeanor stalking as a result of an incident that occurred inside the Family Dollar at 328 Memorial Ave. on Feb. 3, Peacock said.

Morton confronted the female witness and “tried to spit in her face, but she put up her hand.”

“He then shoved her,” Peacock said in an affidavit. The Sun-Gazette is not publishing the witness’ name.

A store employee told the two to get out, Peacock said, adding that Morton pursued the female across the parking lot, spitting on her back and allegedly threatening to assault her.

Police said Morton’s alleged actions are directly related to the female talking to investigators about Gordon’s murder.

Gordon, 16, of Williamsport, was shot to death on Dove Court, an alley near Dove Street and Prospect Avenue, about 12:30 a.m. on Oct. 21.

Following his arraignment last week before District Judge Allen P. Page III, Morton was committed to the Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $85,000 bail.
