Six people injured in four separate accidents
Rebecca Frost, 27, of Rochester, New York, and a passenger, Juliane Homer, 41, of East Bethany, New York, was treated at the Williamsport Regional Medical Center for minor injuries she suffered when her 2017 Nissan Rogue struck a guardrail along ice-covered Route 15, a half a mile north of Route 184, in Cogan House Township about 2:50 p.m. Sunday, state police said.
In another crash, Summer Harris, 21, of South Williamsport, declined treatment for minor injuries she suffered when her 2008 Hyundai Elantra struck a guardrail and landed in the median of Interststate 180 in Fairfield Township about 5 a.m. Friday, state police said.
About the same time as the crash in Fairfield Township, Jonathan Putterman, 42, of Lewisburg, was injured when his car struck a deer on Route 15, just south of Alexander Drive, in Brady Township, state police said. Putterman was treated at the Williamsport Regional Medical Center.
In a fourth accident, a 17-year-old Eagles Mere girl and a passenger in her car, a 15-year-old Hillsgrove girl, were treated at the Williamsport Regional Medical Center for minor injuries they suffered when the vehicle went down an embankment along snow-covered Route 87 at Lower Manor Road in Plunketts Creek Township about 5:15 a.m. on Nov. 24, state police said.
