Woman sent to hospital following Route 44 crash
Madison Graff, 20, of Jersey Shore, was treated at Geisinger Jersey Shore Hospital for injuries she suffered when her car struck a rock on Route 44 in Limestone Township about 10 a.m. Saturday, state police said.
Police also investigated two accidents, both resulting in injuries, that occurred about 30 minutes apart Thursday morning on Route 15, just east of Chadlee Drive, in Armstrong Township.
In the first accident, a car driven by Perry Grove, 56, of Mifflinburg, struck first a rock in the middle of the road and then a jersey barrier before going off the road and hitting a mound of gravel about 5:50 a.m., police said. Grove was treated at the Williamsport Regional Medical Center.
In the second crash, Dennis Brewer, 56, of Jersey Shore, was treated at the hospital for injuries he suffered when his car first struck a jersey barrier and then an embankment about 6:20 a.m., police said.
In another accident, Amy Lanning, 45, of Jersey Shore, suffered minor injuries in a three-vehicle accident at Route 220 and Reynolds Road in Woodward Township about 4:45 p.m. Wednesday, police said.
Besides Lanning, the other two drivers were William Weed, of Linden, and Trenice Moats, of Woolrich, police said.
Concerning another accident, Nancy Dincher, 51, of Cogan Station, declined treatment for injuries she suffered when she was struck by a car driven by Joshua Glace, of South Williamsport, on Northway Road in Eldred Township about 12:50 p.m. on Feb. 20, police said.
Glace’s car also sideswiped a parked vehicle, police said.
In another accident at the same time at the same location, Allison Sechrist, 22, of Cogan Station, declined treatment for injuries she suffered when her car struck a utility pole, went down an embankment and overturned, police said.
