Bail was denied late Thursday for Daniel Prieto, 38, of 400 Glenwood Ave., after he was arraigned before District Judge Christian Frey on charges of allegedly molesting a female child under the age of 2 in the city, according to city police Agent Jason Bolt.
Prieto was taken into custody without incident in South Williamsport on charges of rape of a child, statutory sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault of a child, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child and corrupting the morals of a minor.
Bolt alleges that Prieto sexually assaulted the victim on three occasions during January.
