Three people were injured when a Ford Escape rear-ended a Lexus 350, and then flipped over on Route 220, a half a mile north of Route 287, in Piatt Township about 7:20 a.m. Thursday, according to Tiadaghton Valley Regional police. A woman driving the Escape and a man and woman in the Lexus were taken to a local hospital by ambulances to be treated for what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries, police said. The identities of those involved were not available Thursday night.
