City police are asking for the public's help in locating the whereabouts of 16-year-old Maverick Ronald Wilton, of the 1200 block of West Fourth St., who was last seen when he left home on Dec. 2, city Police Chief Damon Hagan said late Thursday.

Police have termed the case "missing person juvenile endangered," Hagan said, adding the Bureau of Police "has received information that the teen may be suicidal."

The chief said "Wilton is reported to be suffering from mental health conditions and is not taking his medications."

The teen is described as white, 6 feet tall, weighing about 140 pounds with blondish-brown hair and was last seen wearing a black and grey vested hoodie, blue jeans and white shoes.

"Many leads have been received and have been given to – or are being followed up on by – agents and officers at this time. The bureau is asking for assistance from any citizens who may have any information about him. The lead investigator in the case at Agent Justin Snyder. Any information can be sent to jsnyder@cityofwilliamsport.org," Hagan said.
