A man allegedly sexually assaulted a 15-year-old in a Williamsport hotel, leading to her becoming pregnant, according to the Lycoming County District Attorney's office.

Tyree Holly, 25, of an unknown residence, allegedly used a ride-share service to transport two female minors to his room at a downtown Williamsport hotel, where the alleged crime occurred, the night of Nov. 14, according to Loretta Clark, a detective with the DA's office.

When the victim first informed Holly she was pregnant in late November, he allegedly apologized and offered to financially support her. However, Holly allegedly contacted her in late December and threatened to "shoot her" and "steal the baby," according to Clark.

Holly and the victim first met in September of last fall, and did not meet again until early November, when the victim was in the Williamsport area to hang out with friends, where she saw Holly again.

"It just happened," the victim allegedly said of the alleged assault.

The victim's father reported the alleged sexual offense to city police Dec. 2, and the victim's mother reported the incident to ChildLine Dec. 8.

Holly allegedly admitted to the incident to the victim's mother. Furthermore, he allegedly told the victim's mother he understood if the police needed to be involved.

Later, Holly texted the victim's mother and apologized and told her he would financially help support the child.

Several text messages to the victim's mother dated for Nov. 29 show Holly allegedly listing items he would purchase for the baby. Holly also allegedly texted the mother saying he would provide $500 to help with the expenses.

However, on Jan. 4 the victim's mother reported Holly contacted the victim again on Dec. 28 and threatened to "shoot her" and "steal the baby."

Holly was arraigned by District Judge Aaron Biichle on charges of statutory sexual assault, indecent assault, corruption of minors, making terroristic threats, endangering the welfare of children and involuntary deviate sexual intercourse.

Biichle set bail for $125,000 and, unable to post, Holly remains in the Lycoming County Prison until his preliminary hearing before Biichle scheduled for Jan. 21. He is to have no contact with the alleged victim.
