JERSEY SHORE -- An Allegheny Street man has been locked up on a total of 10 charges after allegedly raping one female minor in the borough, having sex with a second one and forcing a third minor to have inappropriate contact with him, according to Tiadaghton Valley Regional Patrolman Justin Segura.
Dartagnan Zuback, 19, of 1220 Allegheny St., apartment 205, has been charged with rape, two counts each of indecent assault, indecent exposure and corrupting the moral of a minor and three counts of statutory sexual assault, the officer said.
The alleged rape occurred after the victim agreed to come to his apartment on Dec. 20, Segura said.
After getting out of the shower naked, Zuback allegedly "straddled her body and grabbed her by her wrist. He then held her down by her wrist and began kissing her. At this point, the victim told him to get off her and stop, but he continued to hold her down," the officer said in an affidavit.
"Zuback was very powerful and strong, and the victim could not fight back," the officer said, adding that the girl told him that Zuback then "reached under her shirt" and inappropriate contact.
Zuback raped the girl, then "apologized to her and said he shouldn't have done that," the officer wrote in the affidavit.
When he was questioned by the officer, Zuback said the girl was the one who was aggressive with him after he stepped out of the shower. Zuback said the girl "shoved him to the bed and straddled his body with hers," before pulling down her pants while on top of him, according to the officer.
The investigation into the alleged rape began last week when the victim came to the Tiadaghton Valley Region police station.
During the course of the investigation, Segura learned there were other female minor victims, including a girl who reported that she and Zuback "had sex in his apartment sometime during the summer," according to the affidavit.
Another girl came forward to report that she went to Zuback's apartment in mid-September, and that while there, he became "very flirty with her" and at one point forced her to have inappropriate contact with him, Segura said. All the girls knew Zuback as "Dar," the officer said.
Following his arraignment last week before District Judge Gary A. Whiteman, Zuback was committed to the Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $100,000 bail.
