Williamsport man charged with criminal solicitation
Clarence Dishong, 31, of 832 W. Third St., has been jailed on charges of offering a woman money for sexual favors and sending her a threatening text message, city police alleged in affidavit.
“I will pay you $200 not $150” for sexual acts, Dishong texted the victim in the city on the morning of Sept 10, police said, adding that later the same day, he allegedly texted the woman again, telling her “Don’t tell (anyone) or you will get hurt,” an affidavit stated.
Police said that Dishong also stalked the woman, telling her by phone or in text messages, “I saw you at the bank. I see you now,” court records stated. Even after going to his home and pleading with him to stop harassing her, Dishong continued with his actions, police alleged. Arraigned before Lepley on charges of criminal solicitation, terroristic threats, stalking and harassment, Dishlong was jailed initially jailed, but has since been released on $25,000 bail.
