Drug charges have been lodged against Ali Kinnard, 33, of Norfolk, Virginia, after investigators with the county's Narcotics Enforcement Unit discovered 15 bags of cocaine in a duffel bag they believed belong to him, according to court records filed at the office of District Judge Christian Frey. The discovery was made in an apartment at 873 Memorial Ave. while investigators were executing a search warrant.
Also in the bag was a handgun, investigators said, adding that Kinnard is prohibited from having such weapons since he has a robbery conviction on his record. Arraigned last week on felony charges of possession with intent to deliver cocaine and convicted felon not to possess a firearm he was committed to the Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $85,000 bail.
