On the run since last summer and suspected of being a flight risk, Philadelphia resident and allegedly drug dealer Zamir Crawford, 22, was taken into custody Friday in that city and jailed on two felony counts of delivery of a controlled substance for his involvement in selling crack cocaine on two occasions, according to court records filed by the county's Narcotics Enforcement Unit (NEU). The alleged sales occurred in late July and early August of last year, investigators said. One sale took place in the 500 block of Memorial Avenue in the city and another in the 1900 block of East Third Street in Loyalsock Township, investigators added. Following his arraignment before District Judge Solomon, Crawford was committed to the Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $100,000 bail.
In another NEU case, Domineek Carter, 32, of 623 1/2 Green St., has been jailed on charges following his alleged involvement in three crack cocaine sales that occurred at his city home between June 26 and July 13, court records stated. Arraigned before District Judge Aaron Biichle on three felony counts each of delivery of a controlled substance and illegal use of cellphone, Carter, who was recently held for court on all charges, is free on $25,000 bail.
In another NEU case, John Charles Reed Jr., 35, of 323 E. First Ave., South Williamsport, has been locked up on felony charges of delivery of a controlled substance and illegal use of a cellphone for selling crack cocaine to an informant at First and Campbell streets on April 14. Following his arraignment before District Judge Denise Dieter, he was jailed in lieu of $75,000 bail.
In another NEU case, Warren Raheem Dogen, 31, of 759 W. Fourth St., has been charged with two counts of delivery of a controlled substance and one count each of endangering the welfare of a child and illegal use of cellphone for his alleged involvement in two sales of crack cocaine that took place on March 21 and April 11, both in the 1600 block of Catherine Street in the city, according to an affidavit. During the first sale, Dogen held a child in his arms, investigators alleged. Arraigned before Biichle, Dogen, who has since waived his preliminary hearing, remains locked up in lieu of $50,000 bail.
In another case, also locked up on NEU charges was Jaree Kayon Rainier, 34, who faces three counts each of delivery of a controlled substance and illegal use of a cellphone for his alleged involvement in three sales of crack cocaine in the city between April 24 and May 9, according to court records at Biichle's office. He was recently held for court on all the charges and remains jailed in lieu of $85,000 bail.
Another NEU case before Biichle involved Dawn Lajune Smith, 53, of 2637 W. Fourth St., who has been charged with selling multiple bags of fentanyl to informants on three occasions in the city between July 12 and July 19, it was alleged in court papers. Two of the sales took place in the 400 block of Brandon Avenue while a third occurred in the 1900 block of West Fourth Street, court records stated. Smith has waived her preliminary hearing and remains incarcerated in lieu of $85,000 bail.
In another case, city police charged Jessica Rosario, 43, of the rear of 820 Park Place, with possession of a controlled substance for allegedly having a cigarette soaked in PCP in the 300 block of Park Avenue on Feb. 19, according to court papers. She is free on bail and was recently held for court on the misdemeanor charge.
In another case, Anthony Rene Savage, 30, of 127 S. Main St., Hughesville, has been charged with possession of a controlled substance (seven grams of marijuana and half a gram of methamphetamine), possession of drug paraphernalia and disorderly conduct outside his home on June 5, according to borough police. In addition to yelling and screaming, "he threw dozens of items in a state of rage. His erratic behavior caused multiple calls to 911," court records stated. He has waived his preliminary hearing before Solomon and is free on $5,000 bail.
In another case. Jayden Paul Holcomb, 21, of Hollywood, Maryland, waived his preliminary hearing on state police charges of possessing a controlled substance (marijuana) and possessing drug paraphernalia on Interstate 180 in Muncy Creek Township on June 23. He is free on $5,000 bail.
In another case, William James Mundell III, 35, of 813 First Ave., has been charged by city police with possession of a controlled substance (1.9 grams of methamphetamine) in the 800 block of First Avenue on April 1. He has since waived his preliminary hearing and is free on $5,000 bail.
