While working as in-home caregiver for a disabled city woman back in late February 2023, Ashley Sherrece Thompson stole $200 in cash and another $560 from an online PayPal account belonging to the client, city police alleged in an affidavit. Formerly of the 700 block of West Edwin Street, Thompson, 31, now living in Philadelphia, was arraigned Tuesday morning before District Judge Aaron Biichle on five counts of access device fraud and one count of theft, and released on $15,000 bail.
