Domestic disturbance lands Williamsport man in county prison

During a domestic disturbance at the couple’s home at 1527 W. Fourth St. about 10:45 a.m. Sunday, Michael Casseus “grabbed his girlfriend around the throat, pointed a handgun at her and made threats to take her life,” it was alleged in a city police affidavit. Casseus, 44, was taken into custody and arraigned before District Judge Kirsten Gardner on charges of terroristic threats and simple assault, and committed to the Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $25,000 bail.
