WINDHAM TOWNSHIP — A 14-year-old girl is dead and police are continuing an investigation into a shooting incident that occurred Tuesday afternoon in Bradford County, according to a news release provided by state police.

“No arrests have been made at this time,” the release states. “There is no threat to the public as it pertains to this investigation.”

According to Towanda-based newspaper the Daily Review, first responders were dispatched to the area of State Route 187 and Merrill Hill Road at 12:13 p.m. for a report of a juvenile with a gunshot wound to the chest, emergency communications revealed.
