11 charged with DUI in Lycoming County

Eleven people have been charged with DUI, according to court records filed at area district judges’ offices.

• Ronald J. Laielli, 62, of 763 Miller Hill Road; state police on Poco Farm Road in Loyalsock Township on May 23; also charged with two summary offenses.

• Corey Michael Wertz, 37, of White Deer, state police on Interstate 180 in Loyalsock Township on May 21; also charged with three summary offenses; this was his third DUI arrest.

• Markale Sowell, 51, of Lewistown; Lycoming Regional police on Route 220 in Porter Township on May 17; also charged with two summary offenses.

• Eric Lee Jolin, 22, of 5189 Route 15, Montgomery; Montoursville police following a crash on Interstate 180 in the borough on May 6; also charged with one summary offense.

• Eddie Scipp, 57, 735 Poplar St.; state police in 1400 block of Washington Boulevard in Loyalsock Township on April 30; also charged with five summary offenses.

• Dunkin N. Latz, 30, of 1328 High St.; state police on Maynard Street in South Williamsport on March 28; also charged with three summary offenses.

• Joni Kay Lyons, 58, of 1507 W. Southern Ave., South Williamsport; state police on Hill Street in South Williamsport on March 28.

• Dalton J. Rishel, 29, of 8 N. Main St., Montgomery; state police following a crash on Route 15 in Armstrong Township on March 7; also charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and three summary offenses.

• Peter Anthony Policastro. 68, of 733 Mulberry St., Montoursville; state police at Broad and Montour streets in the borough on Jan. 31; also charged with three summary offenses.

• Kaylee Elizabeth Probst, 28, of Lock Haven; state police following a crash in the 5400 block of Lycoming Creek Road in Eldred Township on Nov. 21; also charged with two summary offenses.

• Rafiq Berry, 688 Seventh Ave., South Williamsport police participating in a DUI-enforcement roving patrol detail; following a high-speed pursuit that began in downtown Williamsport and ended at West Fourth and Rose streets, where he crashed into a utility pole about. on April 26, 2024; Berry fled on foot, but was quickly nabbed after he was tased; also charged with felony fleeing, resisting arrest and driving without a license.
