Domestic disturbance lands Williamsport man in Lycoming County prison
While at his girlfriend’s home in the 700 block of Fourth Avenue on Friday, Quaheem Dontae Barnes grabbed the woman by her neck and pushed her into a wall while making threatening statements to her, city police alleged in a court document.
He told the woman he was going to “knock her out” as he stood in a punching stance, police were told. Taken into custody at the scene, Barnes, 35, of 662 Fourth Ave., had marijuana on him, police said.
Arraigned before District Judge Gary Whiteman on charges of terroristic threats, simple assault, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, Barnes remains jailed in lieu of $20,000 bail.
