Lycoming County Prison inmate faces new set of criminal charges
New charges have been filed at the office of District Judge Denise Dieter against Lycoming County Prison inmate Gage Michael Murray, who was jailed last month for allegedly shooting two juveniles, one being his brother, with a pellet gun.
Incarcerated on no bail since June 11 when the judge ruled there was sufficient evidence to hold the 18-year-old on charges of simple assault, disorderly conduct and harassment stemming from the injuries he allegedly inflicted with the pellet gun, Murray has now been charged with theft, receiving stolen property and disorderly conduct.
In the new criminal complaint, Lycoming Regional police allege Murray, of 810 Allegheny St., Jersey Shore, stole three snacks from a vending machine at the Squeaky Kleen Laundromat, 343 Allegheny St. in the borough on June 8.
Following his arraignment on the new offenses, Murray was recommitted in lieu of $15,000 bail.
