Several face charges throughout Lycoming County area

New York man accused of sharing intimate photo
A Jasper, N.Y. Man has been charged with unlawful dissemination of an intimate photo after an alleged victim reported that she was contacted by an unknown Instagram user, and made aware that nude photographs of her were located on a file sharing website, city police allege in an affidavit.
The alleged victim provided the user name of the uploader, and advised that her full name was used as the caption for the photos. She further advised that the pictures were taken while she was in a relationship with Grabriel C. Baldwin, 24, of Jasper, N.Y.
Contacted by the alleged victim, Baldwin allegedly denied posting the photos, relating that his Google account had been “hacked,” and providing her with a screenshot he claimed was of communication between himself and the website, according to court documents.
The communication was riddled with spelling and grammatical errors and appeared to be in a text message format, police noted in the affidavit.
A portion of the message stated that the site had received multiple reports of “people using data leaks to upload content and verified that these pictures were taken from google pictures from a users account,” and advised that the reported account would be taken down.
The alleged victim then contacted the website directly, in which they advised that the photos were taken down by the user that had uploaded them. The communications were vastly different than those put forth by Baldwin, being exchanged via email and containing a request number, police said.
A search warrant revealed that six images of the alleged victim had been posted, as well as the username and email associated with the account that had posted them. Additionally, metadata revealed that the photos were posted following the breakup of Baldwin and the alleged victim, an affidavit said.
An additional warrant served to Google, Inc., showed that the email was associated with several searches for the alleged victim’s name and the term, “nude,” on the website containing the images.
Results from the warrant further provided a list of several other accounts on the device registering the uploader’s email address. Many of the addresses were similar in nature, appearing to be fake or “spoof” accounts, however, one of the addresses revealed was “gabrielbaldwin2021@gmail.com,” authorities allege in court documents.”
Contacted by police, Baldwin’s story changed from what he had earlier told the alleged victim, stating that she had uploaded them to a different site herself, and that someone else must have taken them and re-uploaded them to the recent site.
Baldwin was arraigned on six counts of unlawful dissemination of an intimate image.

Just after 10 a.m. on June 2, city police responded to a clothing store in the Newberry section of the city for a report of a trespasser causing a disturbance.
Upon arrival, police were advised that the alleged perpetrator, later identified as Quodrice DeJohn Hendrix, 33, of Lewisburg, had left the scene, and was provided his description.
Police located Hendrix a short distance away on Diamond Street, and attempted to make contact with him, at which point, he immediately became defensive and argumentative, police said in court filings.
Hendrix related to police that his name was Jason J. Jones, with a birthdate of Sept. 12, 1996, and stated that he did have a state identification card, however, authorities were unable to find a person matching that information in their system.
The reporting party positively identified Hendrix as a man who had been given a verbal notice of trespass the previous Friday, only to return to the store that day and cause a disturbance with an employee, according to an affidavit.
Hendrix was again informed that he was the subject of an official investigation, and that he would be charged if it was found that he was lying about his name, however, he again told police the information was correct.
A seizure of his property from a female acquaintance at the scene included his wallet containing a state I.D. Card, positively identifying him as Hendrix, police said.
A subsequent records search revealed that Hendrix had an active warrant out of Union County for failure to appear. He was then transported to Montgomery and turned over to Union County authorities.
Arraigned on a charge of providing false identification to law enforcement by District Judge Christian Frey, Hendrix was released on $2,5000 bail.
Just a month later, on July 3, Hendrix was again taken into custody in the 700 block of Second Street, after he allegedly repeatedly called 911 for a non-emergency reason, struggled with officers as they attempted to place him under arrest and made barking sounds, aimed at taunting a police service dog within his transport cruiser, court documents said.

Confer maintained that he was unable to walk, and when the alleged victim approached the door of the residence, Confer allegedly forced her inside, locked the door and refused to let her leave; she was, however, able to unlock the door, allowing her friend to intervene, police said.
The alleged victim then crawled to safety as Confer was involved with her friend.
Police were initially unable to locate Confer, however he phoned the alleged victim, and related that he had stolen a vehicle and was fleeing the state. He was taken into custody on July 9, and remanded to the Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $15,000 bail after being arraigned on charges of false imprisonment, simple assault and harassment by District Judge Christian Frey.
