Williamsport teen arrested yet again on felony charge of having a stolen handgun

Amontae Morris Pinkney, 18, of 750 W. Edwin St., Williamsport, was jailed in lieu of $100,000 bail that was set by Gardner following his arraignment on a felony charge of receiving stolen property and a misdemeanor charge of possession of instrument of crime that were filed by the county's Narcotics Enforcement Unit after he was found allegedly carrying a stolen firearm on Tuesday inside his apartment, according to an affidavit. The teen was arrested by city police on Feb. 19 on felony charges when he was found in possession of a stolen handgun and an assortment of drugs, according to court records. Initially jailed, Pinkney was released on $125,000 bail in that case. Court papers also reported that Pinkney was arrested in April on a felony charge of possession with intent to deliver crack cocaine.
