During a July 4 cookout in the 800 block of High Street about 5 p.m., Marquis Nutter grabbed a knife and began poking the side of his girlfriend with it, it was alleged in a city police affidavit. After the woman successfully disarmed him, Nutter, 30, of 412 Third Ave., told her “he was going to kill her and her kids,” it was alleged in the court document. Arraigned hours later before Biichle on charges of terroristic threats, simple assault and harassment, Nutter was initially jailed, but has since been released on $25,000 bail.
