After a confidential informant gave him $160 in the 800 block of Franklin Street in city's East End on July 15, Joshua Lynn Mosteller got out of a vehicle and headed north, supposedly en route to get methamphetamine for the informant, it was alleged in an affidavit filed by a detective with the county's District Attorney's Office. However, Mosteller never returned so the 40-year-old Muncy area man has now been charged with theft, according to the court document. Arraigned before District Judge Aaron Biichle, Mosteller, of 1072 Clarkstown Road, has waived his preliminary hearing and is free on $5,000 bail.
