Ajanae Monique Burks, 21, of 638 Second St., Williamsport, has been charged with simple assault, criminal mischief and defiant trespassing after she assaulted another female in a home in the 1400 block of Park Avenue on Dec. 13, city police alleged in an affidavit.

Burks refused to leave the house, and while there, she “began to throw things in the victim’s bedroom, breaking a television set,” police alleged.

Burks has waived her preliminary hearing before District Judge Christian Frey and is free on $2,500 bail.
