Hepburn-Lycoming Ministerium plans services
“Preparing Hearts for Easter” is the theme for a series of Lenten community services being hosted by the Hepburn-Lycoming Ministerium.
The services are held on Sundays at 4 p.m., March 17, 24, 31 and April 7 at Calvary Church of the Nazarene, 3200 Lycoming Creek Road in Williamsport.
Free will offerings will benefit the West End Food Bank and Sojourner Truth Ministries. A light supper will be served following the service. All are welcome and invited to attend.
United Methodist Church plans community dinner
St. Paul Calvary United Methodist Church holds a community dinner on Thursday, March 21, beginning at 5:30. Dinner is free and features baked ham.
The address is 1427 Memorial Ave., Williamsport. Guests are asked to use the elevator entrance along the west side parking lot.
Everyone is welcome.
Trinity United Methodist offers homemade donuts
JERSEY SHORE – Trinity United Methodist Church is holding a sale of fresh homemade doughnuts on Thursday, at the church, 1407 Allegheny St., Jersey Shore.
To order, call the church office at 570-398-2913 Monday through Friday and give approximate time of pickup.
Cost is $6 per dozen and $3 per half dozen. Walk ins welcome after 7 a.m. March 21.
Presbyterians offer baked steak dinner on Tuesday
Montoursville Presbyterian Church, 900 Elm St., will serve a baked steak dinner on Tuesday, from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Weekly Lent soup sale, luncheon begins
Weekly Lenten soup sale and luncheon is held every Thursday, through April 11 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Items available include Hamburger BQ, hot dogs, homemade vegetable soup, baked beans and homemade pies.
