God is right where you left Him. He is waiting for you with open arms. Yes, our world today holds much uncertainty and a lack of security. Sad to say, but even some churches are divided.
To reunite, you need to let go of your pride. Acknowledge that you don't have to do it your way. Submit to God, and do it His way. Understand that it is possible to receive God's grace in the midst of this world, which we could describe as an "echo chamber of conflicting truths."
It is time Bible-believing Christians speak out and share the love of God. Why are some people losing faith in the first place? They watch or listen to ungodly media, fail to study the Scriptures, do not attend church, or have become unteachable. Some have just become so hopeless that they don't bother to believe any more.
It is time to hear the good news. God is still on the throne. Though circumstances may not change, God can change your attitude. Start counting your blessings and sharing them. You can and should remain joyful, even in the midst of hardship.
You know, if Satan can't steal your joy, he can't defeat you! Stick to the source: the Holy Scriptures. Surround yourself with fellow believers. Sing your favorite hymn, and memorize a Bible verse. Most importantly, pray. And be honest when you pray. Be specific. Your God is waiting to hear from you. He wants what's best for you. "He gave His only begotten son" for you (John 3:16 KJV).
On July 1st, I would have celebrated my thirty-eighth wedding anniversary had my husband not gone home to be with the Lord. I could have complained to God all day or been depressed and cried all day. What kind of faith would I have shown? Yes, I shed some tears, and yes, I miss my husband with all my heart. With God's grace, I was able to count the many blessings of thirty-two years instead of bemoaning the last seven. I did not want Satan to defeat me, so I didn't allow him to steal my joy.
As bad as things may be on this earth, they are temporary, for this earth is not your home. "Death is the great equalizer" for that is one thing we all will do (K. J. Oldster). As you close your eyes in death, you will open them in your eternal home. It is your choice. Will you choose Heaven or Hell? It is my prayer that you live joyfully by faith, knowing you are loved beyond measure. When you close your eyes, I pray you open them in Heaven.
It is my desire to meet each one of you in Heaven one sweet day. Where is God? He is waiting for you to call upon Him. Remember; "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
What greater love can be bestowed upon humankind!
