Romans 7:14-18a, 24-25 says: "For we know that the law is spiritual, but I am carnal, sold under sin. For what I am doing, I do not understand. For what I will to do, that I do not practice; but what I hate, that I do. If, then, I do what I will not to do, I agree with the law that it is good. But now, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me. For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) nothing good dwells…O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death? I thank God--through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, with the mind I myself serve the law of God, but with the flesh the law of sin" (NKJV).
In Romans 7:14-25 are scriptures that really let us know that we need graces, over and over again. Even the least of us who try to follow the Word of God in Jesus Christ have this flesh of ours always trying to take over.
Your grace found me again.
Another scripture is Romans 5:19-20: "For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man's obedience many will be made righteous. Moreover the law entered that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace abounded much more." Because of us coming through Adam, God gave us a free gift. But, the offenses we developed from sin "kill" us every day and cause us to need judgement. But, if we keep walking in righteousness, that grace will abound.
Your grace found me again.
You are the sufficient grace we receive. In 2 Corinthians 12:9, God helps us with strength over our weakness, and Christ's power rests upon us. "And He said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me."
Your grace found me again.
A glorious day is in Ephesians 1:16: "I do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers." We need to make mention of people in our prayers. That is grace we give to each other. Sometimes, we don't know that a grace prayer can help us in other ways of ministering.
Your grace found me again.
In 1 Timothy 1:13-14, Paul gives glory to God for His grace. "I was…an insolent man; but I obtained mercy because I did it ignorantly in unbelief. And the grace of our Lord was exceedingly abundant, with faith and love which are in Christ Jesus." Christ uses us in ministry. Because of how we were, the flesh side of us, we were so ignorantly in unbelief, but the grace of our Lord Jesus was exceedingly abundant. We have the love and faith of Christ Jesus. You know Christ Jesus was suffering for us. Why can't we suffer for Him? God gave us grace.
Your grace found me again.
With all the things that are going on around the world, sometimes we forget that call of God. He who "has an ear, let him hear" what the Spirit is saying to us. Galatians 1:15-16 says, "But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb and called me through His grace, to reveal His Son in me, that I might preach Him among the Gentiles, I did not immediately confer with flesh and blood." It pleased God to call us from our mother's womb and call us through His grace to see what we are doing is not right. You can wake up one more day and get it right.
God's grace has found you again.
What are you waiting for? It is only on this side of heaven. You don't want to go the other way anymore.
We have grace.
Your grace has found me or you again.
