Guests from Chinese Taipei enjoy Little League game

This year's Little League World Series attendees included several distinguished guests from Chinese Taipei, including Ambassador James Lee, Director-General of the Taipei Economic & Cultural Office (TECRO) in New York; Li Chang, Deputy Director-General; Minling Yang, Director of TECRO's Education Division; Robin Cheng, TECRO in Washington, D.C.; and Yeoman Chang, Director of TECRO's Health Division. Local doctors Grace and Jason Shu welcomed and met with the Chinese Taipei team and the TECRO officials. Dr. Grace Shu, MD, PhD is a U.S. Public Health Service Advisor and Chief Advisor to Lycoming County on International Affairs.
"We try to come while Chinese Taipei LL team made to Williamsport for LLWS," Dr. Grace Shu said. "Williamsport, Little League Baseball, and Chinese Taipei have a long and rich history together, and all of the players have demonstrated outstanding sportsmanship and athleticism."
