The Barn at Pine Creek, located at 4729 North Route 44 Highway, Jersey Shore, is a rustic, mid-1800s barn in Pine Creek Valley that can be rented out for weddings.
The venue, owned by husband and wife Tim and Cami Mahaffey, has been renovated to fit the needs of wedding guests.
"We fell in love with the spot, a farmhouse on 10 acres with tons of creek frontage and a large barn. It is such a cool spot that we'd like to share it -- It’s too beautiful not to share," she added.
"It was rundown, and my husband and I had looked at it a couple of times. I was like, this would be a beautiful spot for a wedding venue. That was the vision we had, to just get into something different," Cami Mahaffey, Owner of The Barn at Pine Creek said.
"We restored the house from top to bottom and kept the barn as rustic as possible," she added.
Guests that rent out the venue have access to the location from Friday to Sunday. Along with the barn, there is a house next door that has rooms available for the wedding party.
The venue provides guests with tables and chairs and has newly renovated bathrooms included in the barn.
"There’s two rooms in the house that the wedding party use to get ready prior to the wedding, the girls have a suite and the guys have a sweet," Mahaffery said.
Guests of The Barn have creative and financial freedom over their wedding planning as they are responsible for booking food, decorations, music and so on.
"I do find it a luxury for people that they can pick exactly what they want. From casual to formal," Mahaffey said. "We’ve had them for both ends of the spectrum. It fits the needs of the soon to be couples, whatever your budget. That’s what makes it nice," Mahaffey said.
