And in this region, one of the best spots around is Santino’s Italian Cuisine at 100 S. Main St., Jersey Shore.
Established in 1992 with the dream of bringing fine dining and authentic Italian cooking to the borough, the Cracchiolo family has done above and beyond that by incorporating Italian cuisine alongside American food favorites.
Customers rave about the restaurant’s homemade dough serving up some of the best subs, pizza, and strombolis, said Phillip Cracchiolo, owner.
“Santino’s has also stolen many hearts with delicious sauces including spaghetti and meatballs, vodka sauce, and lobster sauce.” Cracchiolo said.
“We have people traveling from many places including Florida, New Jersey, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia – asking to pack food for long travels to loved ones who have left the area and just need their Santino’s fix,” he said.
When asked about the challenges facing a family that is providing such quality meals and dining experience, Cracchiolo explained: “As many other businesses we struggle with staffing, since Covid it has been our biggest struggle,” he said, adding how thankful he has been for the staff.
“We have a handful of employees that have been with us 20-plus years and have become family, working hard to keep the dream alive,” he said.
“Santino’s would like to thank all of our customers near and far for supporting us through the years and we will continue to strive to bring you the best Italian cuisine!”
