A new chapter for PRN Home Health Services

When it comes to home health and home care agency services, the name PRN Home Health Services is synonymous with quality.
This is a family-owned home health and home care agency serving individuals and families throughout northeastern and central Pennsylvania.
"We specialize in providing skilled nursing and home health aide services to children, helping them receive the care and support they need safely and comfortably at home, at school, and in the community," said Brion Bartholomew, co-owner PRN Home Health Services.
PRN also provides non-medical home care services, including personal care, assistance with activities of daily living, household tasks, and other supports that promote safety, independence, and quality of life in the home.
"We have around 70-80 employees between fulltime and parttime," he said.
For nearly 25 years, PRN Home Health Services has been more than a business. It has been a family, one built on compassion, trust, and a commitment to caring for others.
Today, "we are proud to share a new chapter in PRN's story," Bartholomew said.
Following a recent ownership restructuring, Brion and Shawna Bartholomew, together with their family, are now the sole owners of PRN Home Health Services.
As long-standing members of the organization, Brion and Shawna have spent many years helping guide PRN's operations, supporting its employees, and contributing to the agency's growth.
For them, this transition is deeply personal. PRN was founded on a vision established by Brion's sister, Sulynn, whose dedication and compassion helped shape the foundation of the agency.
The Bartholomew family is proud to carry her legacy forward while continuing to strengthen PRN and the care it provides.
While ownership may have changed, the heart of PRN remains the same – "our people," Bartholomew remarked.
"We are pleased to recognize Bill Winder as Administrator of PRN Home Health Services," he said.
"Over the past year, Bill has helped lead many positive changes throughout the organization. His focus on improving care, supporting employees, and building a stronger future for PRN continues to make a meaningful difference," Bartholomew said.
"We also want to express our heartfelt appreciation to Lori Mahaffey, our Director of Nursing, for her many years of dedicated service to PRN," he said.
"Lori's commitment to our clients, families, and staff has been an important part of the agency's story and success. We are truly grateful for her continued leadership, loyalty, and dedication."
"As we look to the future, we are excited about what lies ahead. Our focus includes:
• Expanding children's services and pediatric care programs
• Developing comprehensive Home Health Aide (HHA) training opportunities
• Strengthening supervision, communication, and support for our field staff
