Broadband issues topic of meeting
Issues related to high-speed internet, commonly known as broadband, will be the focus of a series of meetings in the region, including one Wednesday in Williamsport.
The meetings are part of a study to address broadband needs in Lycoming, Clinton, Northumberland and Union counties.
More information about the study will be provided during the one-hour sessions being facilitated by the SEDA-Council of Governments. SEDA-COG has contracted with Design Nine Inc. to do the study.
Wednesday’s session will be at 2 p.m. in the Executive Plaza building, 330 Pine St.
Additional meetings will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Clinton County offices, 2 Piper Way, Lock haven, and at 9 a.m. Friday at the Union County Government Center, 155 N. 15 St., Lewisburg.
