LINDEN -- Woodward Township Supervisors discussed additional details Wednesday about police regionalization efforts.
The regionalization study is "underway," said Supervisors Chairman Alan Worth.
Supervisors are looking into the costs of bringing coverage to the township, but it would amount to a "substantial" increase in local taxes, he said.
In another matter, the supervisors unanimously adopted a 2020 no-tax-hike budget.
The township's real estate millage will remain at 0.514, meaning residents who live in a property assessed at $100,000 would pay $51.40.
Supervisors also approved their 2020 meeting schedule, which will not change from the third Wednesday of the month. The next Woodward Township Supervisors meeting will be at 6 p.m. Jan. 6 with the annual reorganization followed by their normal business meeting.
All three supervisors, Worth, Wayne Robinson and Jack Coleman, were present.
