Woman celebrates 100th birthday with motorcycle ride

RALPH WILSON/Sun-Gazette Correspondent Celebrating her 100th birthday at the Meadows is Gainell Confer who, as a motorcycle aficionado, wanted nothing more than one more ride. With the help of Melissa McCauley and the Red Knights Firefighters Motorcycle Club she got to tour the Loyalsock countryside from the sidecar of McCauley's Harley-Davidson on Saturday. Confer started riding motorcycles in her fifties and still road back and forth to Florida into her eighties.
