Two city schools to go remote today

Jackson Primary and Lycoming Valley Intermediate schools will shift to remote learning today and Thursday due to “the continued rise of active COVID cases and high volume of student quarantines,” according to an announcement on the Williamsport Area School District’s Facebook page.

Friday is a scheduled day off for students due to a teacher in-service.

Students affected are expected to log into Schoology for all classes at their normally scheduled times.

In-person learning will resume Monday, Sept. 20. All other schools in the district will operate as normal.

Starting at $2.99/week.
