Arts, crafts, food and music -- all for two days beneath the shade of trees in historic Brandon Park.
The City of Williamsport presents its annual HomeMade Days Arts & Crafts Show in historic Brandon Park, said Kayla Drummond, city recreation coordinator.
The showcase will be Friday, June 24, from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. and Saturday, June 25, from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m., according to a news release.
HomeMade Days hopes to educate both students and individuals in the region on art in all forms, as well as provide an event for artisans to display and sell their wares to a regional base of art lovers.
“We are looking to evolve and grow as a show, but stay true to our mission and original concept of all things handcrafted or "HomeMade" as we say,” Drummond said in the release.
The annual arts and crafts show draws in an estimated 8,000 to 10,000 visitors in recent years during the two-day event each June.
Such outdoor events are what people want to see and take part in especially coming out of the worst of the COVID pandemic.
In addition to the arts and crafts, visitors of all ages enjoy musical entertainment and a variety of food vendors.
The festival will also feature live music.
