Some Little Leaguers in COVID-19 quarantine

Little League International confirms there have been players on more than one team at the 2022 Little League Baseball World Series who have tested positive for COVID-19.

In following Little League approved health and safety protocols, all teammates of those players will be permitted to continue to stay in the International Grove and participate without restrictions, while the players who have tested positive remain in isolation.

Little League will continue to follow its health and safety protocols and hopes for a full and healthy recovery of those players, which would allow them to return to the tournament.

Health and safety protocols can be found on LittleLeague.org.

At this time, this will have no impact on the World Series game schedule. For the privacy of those players in isolation, and the teams impacted, Little League International will not disclose any additional information.
