Tioga County has kicked-off its 57th annual fair this week.
Tonight at 7 p.m. there will be Bullride Mania Rodeo. This year the event has been sponsored and will be free to the public. Throughout the day there will be three free shows done by Clive Allen and Heather Lynn Magic and Illusions as well as Michael Griffin Escape Artist. The Backwoods Band is also set to perform two free shows.
Friday there will be a Demolition Derby at 7 p.m. and a performance by Whey Jennings at 6 p.m. Both events require ticket purchase for entry. Tickets for extra events can be purchased online.
Whey Jennings is the grandson of country music artists Waylon Jennings and Jessi Colter.
"Whey Jennings is a 'rough around the edges, unpolished singer' with a voice as big as Texas," according to the Tioga County Fair website.
There will be three more free shows done by Clive Allen and Heather Lynn Magic and Illusions. Jeff Krick will be doing three shows as Elvis and The Bluegrass Express is expected to have two free performances.
Amusement rides will open at 5 p.m. tonight and Friday night and noon on Saturday.
Saturday is packed with just as much fun with free entertainment, rides and more.
For those that miss the Friday demolition derby, another will take place on Saturday at 7 p.m.
A Lumberjack competition will take place at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
Free entertainment from Clive Allen and Heather Lynn Magic and Illusions will continue on Saturday.
There will also be two performances by Scott Turner -- The Band of One as well as Heather Olsen and Silver Eagle Band.
There is a firework show planned to begin at dusk to close out the fair for the year.
Visitors can also get excited about multiple food vendors and agriculture showcases. There is a set price of admission to the fair and parking is free.
