State Rep. Jamie Flick, R-South Williamsport, will host a seminar about grants available through the state Department of Conservation and Natural Resources from 10 a.m. to noon, Dec. 20 at New Trail Brewing Co., 240 Arch St., Williamsport.
"This is a great opportunity for individuals and acommunity organizations to learn about the grant resources DCNR may provide for the 83rd District," Flick said, according to a news release. "We share a beautiful community and it is important to think of what it will need in the future to remain beautiful and accessible to our residents and visitors."
Wes Fahringer, a recreation and parks adviser from the Bureau of Recreation and Conservation, Northcentral Region, will be the keynote speaker. Light refreshments will be provided.
