Sentimental Journey Fly-In set for June

LOCK HAVEN -- The 38th Sentimental Journey to Cub Haven Fly-in will be happening June 18-23.

This family-oriented Fly-in at the William T. Piper Airport in Lock Haven will feature the newly restored Berlin Airlift Flying Museum and the J-2.

Gates open at 9 a.m.-10 a.m. daily with free admission after 5 p.m. every day and all day Saturday.

Wednesday, June 19, will be Clinton County Day with no admission fee beginning at noon for all residents of Clinton County.

Thursday will be Veterans Appreciation Day. All veterans will be admitted free of charge.

Friday is Member Appreciation Day. Members can take advantage of half-price admission.

A Daily Pass includes flight light. Admission for ages 18 and up is $12; Ages 13-17 is $5 and children 12 and under are free. You must show a valid membership card for discounts to apply.

A banquet will be held beginning at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, June 21. The banquet is open to the public, but reservations are required and can be made by calling 570-893-4200.

On Saturday, there will be a car and motorcycle cruise-in with People's Choice Awards given.

Sunday features a breakfast and closing activities of the Sentimental Journey Fly-In 2024.

The public is invited to enjoy the Fly-In activities, not just pilots and airplane owners.

All makes and models of aircraft are welcomed during the Fly-in.

During the Fly-in there will be seminars, contests, Fly-Bys, great food, fun, fellowship, awards, tours, corn roasts and a kiddie hour is held each day,

Nightly bands and Cornhole games are free and open to the public.

Camping and under-wing camping is available. Transportation to local motels is also available.
