Additionally, the exterior of the building will receive a fresh new look once weather permits including a new exterior sign.
Day-to-day operations will be overseen by Dipson Theatres,a cinema operator dating back to 1939. Famvest is very excited that District Cinema LLC and Dipson Theaters Inc. have partnered to revive the cinema at The District at Lycoming Valley, the news release added.
To mark its reopening, a blend of new releases and retro films will be shown. All proceeds from the retro screenings will be donated to the Muncy Township Volunteer Fire Company, a vital service that protects and serves the residents of Muncy and surrounding areas. “We are grateful for their dedication and courage, and we hope this donation will help them continue their noble work,” said Clement.
Bald Birds Brewing Company will be operating a canned beer and mixed-drink pop-up for the soft opening weekend on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Guests can enjoy a variety of craft beverages from this local brewery while watching the movies.
