Lycoming County poll workers and sites payments approved
The Lycoming County Commissioners approved two agenda items related to elections in the county at their recent meeting.
The first was the payment of $136,723 due to poll workers and locations from Election Day, Nov. 5.
The second action was the approval of a change order with H&P Construction extending the contract they had with the county by two weeks due to material delays and the Thanksgiving holiday. The construction is related to work being done at polling sites to bring them into compliance with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards.
In other actions, the commissioners approved the following agenda items: a professional service agreement with McClure Company for the Resource Management Services department; an amendment to the agreement with PennCore Consulting to allow them to do elevation certificates for income qualified individuals; awarding the bid to Michael Baker International for the Lycoming County Hazard Plan update in the amount of $128,867; two subrecipient agreements for the Pennsylvania Housing Affordability and Rehabilitation program with $150,000 for the YWCA Northcentral PA and the Lycoming-Clinton Joinder Board for $65,000; annual maintenance of the Mitel Software Assurance in the amount of $16,776 for telephones throughout the county; the Mythics Oracle Database support renewal in the amount of $892; an annual maintenance fee with Central Square E-Finance in the amount of $69,295; the 1024-25 CCAP Sylint agreement and commitment form in the amount of $9,500; the purchase of a copier/printer/scanner from Marco in the amount of $34,553; the MFA subscription renewal in the amount of $37,415; an amendment to the agreement with Restorative Behavioral Health for an extension to 2025; an amendment to an agreement with Rogers Uniforms; agreements with Brian Ulmer, Esq,. and Kyle Rude, Esq., for staffing in the Public Defender’s office; and the appointment of Kallie D. Vento, Esq., McCormick Law Firm as an assistant solicitor.
The next meeting of the commissioners will be at 10 a.m., Dec. 5 in the Commissioners’ Board Room, 3rd floor, Third Street Plaza, 33 W. Third St.
