The Lycoming Regional Police Commission voted to approve a separation agreement and general release for Chief Nathan DeRemer at a special meeting Wednesday night.

A formal letter of resignation from DeRemer is expected to be accepted at the Dec. 11 commission meeting.

The commission also approved Capt. Christopher Kriner to assume the role of officer in charge, effectively immediately.
