The Chick-fil-A at 186 Maynard St. is slated to open Thursday, July 31, according to a statement from Chick-fil-A Inc.
Williamsport store owner-operator Ryan Braundmeier will oversee a restaurant creating about 120 jobs as Chick-fil-A donates $25,000 to address food insecurity.
The restaurant will be open Monday through Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., offering dine-in, drive-thru, carry-out, delivery and Mobile Thru.
“Chick-fil-A has felt like a home to me for the past eight years, and I’m especially grateful to my wife for introducing me to the brand,” Braundmeier said, according to a news release. “I’m honored to bring that same spirit to Williamsport by building a team that feels like family and creating an environment where every guest feels cared for.”
A native of Lititz, Braundmeier began his Chick-fil-A journey as a Team Member shortly after graduating from Grove City College, where he first discovered his passion for leadership and service.
He later joined Chick-fil-A’s Leadership Development Program, gaining hands-on experience in restaurant operations and community engagement as he prepared to become a local owner-operator, the news release said.
Community giving
Chick-fil-A has a Chick-fil-A Shared Table program, which redirects surplus food to local nonprofits and has helped to create over 35 million meals to date.
The restaurant opening will be celebrated with a $25,000 donation from Chick-fil-A Inc. to Feeding America in honor of the new restaurant.
These funds will be distributed to partners in the Williamsport area to aid in the fight against hunger.
Fun stuff for opening day
Guests who dress in cow print can receive one free entree or kids meal.
“Since 1995, the cows have been a beloved part of Chick-fil-A, encouraging humans to skip burgers and ‘Eat More Chikin,'” the news release said.
