ACC Premiere, a Connecticut-based company has filed a WARN notice with the state Department of Labor & Industry informing the state that up to 67 employees of their facility at 948 Plaza Drive in Montoursville will be laid off, according to PennLive.com.

The notice was dated July 22.

The WARN Act, a piece of federal legislation, requires employers to provide notice of closings and mass layoffs by covered businesses 60 days in advance of the action, PennLive.com reported.

The layoffs, which the company attributed to the loss of a client contract, are expected to take effect Sept. 19.

ACC Premiere, said in the WARN notice that it is “seeking to offer other job opportunities to many of the employees as they come up,” PennLive.com said.
