Each click of the camera at Albright Studio Photography in South Williamsport brings another opportunity for a memorable keepsake.

“Being part of the greater community is important to us as with each click of our camera we attempt to capture significant memories for each and every client,” said Danielle Fiorini, a full-time photographer, editor, and designer at the studio location at 1 E. Central Ave.

Dani works with her husband and seasoned photographer, Nicholas Fiorini, and their daughter, Maddy Fiorini, to capture these photographic keepsakes.

Kathy Bahr, part-time office manager and Teyla Mane, part-time employee, handle the daily tasks and the studio team recently held a business opening and ribbon-cutting with the Williamsport/Lycoming Chamber of Commerce and community at the renovated Victorian-era mansion that was once the Charles M. Noll Funeral Home.

“There are too many people to thank,” Nick said at the ribbon cutting.

“I would just like to say that we are absolutely pleased and honored to be a part of this community and to be able to serve all of the different organizations, schools and we thank everyone.”

“We founded the studio with the intent to provide high quality photos at reasonable rates,” Dani said.

“Whether that be a school class picture, a senior portrait, wedding or an athletic event, we consider each image as an extension of our family.”

“We are a family-owned business,” Dani attests.

“We opened the business in 2006 in Clifton Heights, Pa., where we began with weddings which then turned into team and individual photography as well as sport action.”

Nick and Dani have backgrounds in athletics (both competing on the collegiate level).

This then blossomed into school photography as Nick and Dani, both educators (began working in education in 1997.)

Their new headquarters is one-of-a-kind, charming, and functional with rooms designed for specific purposes.

“Each room has a different feel and can be used for the expressed needs for each client,” Dani said.

“The front room, with the fireplace, has several seating locations: fireplace, barn doors, Victorian windows, plain white wall or tiger maple wood background,” she added.

The floor in both this and the smaller front room has been returned to the original oak hardwood floor with a beautiful design, Dani noted.

“The smaller front room will mainly be children, babies, ‘mommy and me’ photos, seniors and our ‘mall minis,'” she said.

Mall Mini is something new created for clients who just need a quick picture with two different poses allowing them to choose a different background.

This room has various backdrops and a beautiful window sill with soft natural light.

The grand staircase has a beautiful stained glass window perfect for brides and senior pictures, she said.

Meanwhile, the back staircase has been transformed into an elegant but fun photo spot complete with disco stairs, black and white walls, and the ability to create a mood with various colored lighting.

“This scene is perfect for individual sessions with brides, proms and seniors,” Dani said.

The back “grey” room is for individuals but also larger groups like proms and wedding parties.

Walls are a neutral gray with white trim and an updated large plank wood floor with a functional rustic inspired wall with pop funk decorations.

The once dated yellow bathroom has been repainted black and white as inspired by the Genetti ladies room — “perfect for brides, seniors and proms.”

“Our locker room is perfect for senior athletes, complete with bench, lockers and varsity letters. Inspired by concrete city, our next room has walls covered with bright, clean pop graffiti allowing individuals to get that grunge feel right here in South Williamsport,” she said.

The carriage house has been transformed into a media day area for individuals and teams wanting media day shoots as well as fire, smoke and water.

The private upstairs of the carriage house is being renovated to accommodate boudoir sessions.

Beyond their walls, Albright Studio Photography can handle both individuals and large groups such as families, weddings and proms.

“We have a variety of flowers that were planted to match all outfits in various seasons,” Dani stressed.

“Every part of our outside area can be utilized for photos from the wrought iron fence and gate to the gorgeous cream pillars on the front; not to mention the one-of-a-kind concrete hand chairs perfect for photos.”

So, where did the ideas come from for these various designs in the rooms?

“Years of photographing along the East Coast as well as the Midwest,” Dani replied.

“We have been blessed to be inspired by our travels and what our clients request. So, we compiled it all into one studio.”

What are the types of cameras that are used and what is the technology?

“We are members of Nikon Professionals Services (NPS), so we are Nikon all the way. As for technology, we are MAC users.”

Who are the typical clients?

“Our clients are our community – so our next door neighbor, teachers, school students, brides, graduating seniors, the pro athletes and CEOs,” Dani said.

The value of being a member of the Williamsport/Lycoming Chamber of Commerce can’t be understated.

“Being part of the chamber has allowed us to bring purpose to our camera clicks via our Lycoming County community,” Dani said.

“Jason Fink, chamber president and CEO, and his team act as a welcomed resource for business development, growth and networking and we look forward to many more years as members.”

“Our opening was seamless thanks to the chamber and their desire to help us further our commitment to the community via the ribbon cutting and opening.

What will be the business hours?

“Our hours fluctuate as we are a small business and need to be on site to capture memories for our clients. But we do post where events will be for the week each Friday.”
