About 150 people have given their time at 48 sites in our area, cleaning, painting, repairing, places in need as part of TRANSFORM this week.
The mission through First Church on Market Street has been happening every summer for about 15 years.
“Gods servants” as they are called work with applications they receive in the spring from various non-profits and homeowners.
The program this year has seen volunteers from as far as Altoona and Harrisburg. They vary in age from 6-years-old and up with their families as well as 50 youth from youth groups across the region.
“There is a way for everyone to contribute,” said Ben Conrad, the church’s director of connections.
