Trometter still shops at the Williamsport store even though he no longer lives in the area and says, “there is no other store like this in the entire state.” Black Friday deals that get people out to shop Thanksgiving night aren’t as popular as they had been years ago according to a story by the Associated Press, but still sales on the Friday after Thanksgiving make this day the busiest shopping day of the year. Retailers said they’re ready for Small Business Saturday — originated to encourage purchases with locally-owned businesses — as well.
