Downtown Muncy kicks off Fourth Friday season
Downtown Muncy’s Fourth Friday series returns for the 2026 season on Friday, May 22, from 6 to 9 p.m., bringing live music, family fun, local vendors, and community spirit back to Main Street.
Kicking off the evening is Brandon Lusk, an acoustic singer-songwriter known for his smooth blend of folk and rock performing a mix of originals and covers that sets a perfect tone for a night downtown.
New this year: a hamster wheel snow cone maker, offering a hands-on, one-of-a-kind treat for kids and adults alike.
Families will also find face painting, a bounce house, balloon animals and hats courtesy of a State Farm-sponsored balloon artist, and additional activities hosted by local organizations throughout the evening.
Each month, Fourth Friday vendor fees are donated to a local cause. May’s proceeds benefit the Muncy Pool, continuing a tradition from last year that helped area children attend swimming lessons at no cost.
The rest of the Fourth Friday season continues through summer:
• June 26 — Izzy Butters (country & rock acoustic)
• July 24 — Long Story Short (pop, rock & country)
• Aug. 21 (Third Friday) — Knarly Knuckles Band (folk, bluegrass & zydeco)
Beyond Fourth Friday, Downtown Muncy Inc. has a full community calendar ahead, including the Taste of Muncy on Sept. 26, Indianfest on October 10, Halloween Night on Oct. 31, and the Second Annual Holiday Market on Nov. 14.
All Fourth Friday events are free and open to the public, 6 to 9 p.m. in downtown Muncy. For more information, follow @DowntownMuncy or email downtownmuncy@gmail.com.
