Way’s Garden Art Show continues Sunday

Sunshine and warm temperatures were on hand Saturday for the kickoff of the 80th Way’s Garden Art Show at 845 W. Fourth St. in Williamport. The event is organized by the Bald Eagle Art League, which for the first time in its long history, began the show on Saturday.

The show continues Sunday in conjuction with Trinity Episcopal Church’s Strawberry Festival, just across the street. The show runs 10 a.m to 4 p.m. on Sunday while the festival will began at 11:30 a.m. and go until 3:30 p.m.

More than two dozen skilled artists and photographers are taking part in the show this year along with a few musicians, including the Repasz Band, which is expected to perform between 1-3 p.m.

More sun is in store for early part of the day, but clouds will be moving in late in the afternoon with a chance of a thunderstorm.
